BIZARRE MIXUP RESULTS IN LOCAL SEWIST RECEIVING COAL

QP – Quilting Press
CLEVELAND, OHIO
In a rare case of mistaken identity, Santa misdelivered gifts for two women. Rachel Griffith, who writes a blog called “p.s. I quilt,” received the Christmas gift intended for Rachel Griffin, of nearby Canton, who writes a blog called “p.s. I quit.” Griffith’s blog focuses on quilting and the fiber arts; she is well-known for her tutorials and upbeat tone. Griffin’s is a daily dose of employment-based snark; her best-loved posts are those in which she provides unforgiveable things to say to one’s boss as one is walking out the door.

Griffin’s coal landed in Griffith’s stocking, and Griffin received a coveted bundle of new fabric. When asked by QP reporters about her gift, Griffin responded, “I don’t know what to do with this stuff; if I can figure out a way around copyright, I'll tell my boss I’ve become a designer so I can tell him to take this job and ... well, you know.” Griffith was unavailable for comment. Her representative said she was “devastated ... she had a quilt all planned for that fabric and now she’s back to scrap management. It’s a genuine tragedy.”
