Triple Star and The Snappy Dresser

Finally gifted - a quilt I finished this summer for friends who moved into a new home.  Loved playing with these HSTs.  Pattern is called Triple Star; I got it here.  I did overlapping squares for the quilting: easy to mark, I just zoomed around my 12.5-inch square; harder to actually quilt.  I did get the hang of burying my thread ends!

The back.  You know I like a pieced back!

This afternoon I bellowed at the kids to play outside and grab a rake while they were at it - so they did!  Meet Bob.  They gave him a snazzy ensemble, eh?
He even has a friend to "hang out" with - one of our old, much-abused milk-jug skeletons.  I do love this time of year, don't you?

  2. Your milk jug skeleton is fun!

While I like your quilt top, I really like the backing too. Great job!
